Kitty Hawk Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Engineer with seven (7) or more years of experience supporting Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) or Navy engineering activities in Dalhgren, Virginia. Key Responsibilities:
- Works as part of a team to support Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) ground test engineering activities
- Supports the coordination of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tool development, integration, and testing with developers and test agencies
- Supports the Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) process to ensure M&S tools have defined pedigree to align with test authority requirements
- Coordinates with program leadership and engineering teams to align engineering and test efforts to meet BMDS requirements and schedules
- Coordinates with engineers to ensure system requirements and test-bed capabilities are aligned to support test and evaluation activities
- Supports Risk Management efforts to identify, analyze, and minimize programmatic and technical risks
- Prepares technical presentations, briefings, papers, and accreditation letters to support M&S and testbed authorization activities
