We have an immediate opening for a Learning Standards Specialist to join our team. This position will provide an opportunity to develop the innovative technology that supports some of our nation’s most important defense initiatives. Kitty Hawk Technologies has an immediate need for a Learning Standards Specialist to provide key support to Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA. SCSTC provides the United States Navy and our allies with highly trained warfighters to maintain, operate, and tactically employ surface combat systems across the spectrum of operations. The Learning Standards Specialist will support SCSTC International and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform training analysis of existing and proposed courses and/or revisions

• Conduct analysis to ensure compliance with existing guidance and provides technical support to the development of specifications, personnel performance profiles, technical performance standards

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Navy Training Management, training material development, authoring tools and life cycle maintenance

• Understanding of Electronic Classroom (ECR) environments to include ECR LAN webpages and My Navy Portal (MNP) Community of Practice (COP) functionality

• Experience in curriculum test item analysis and Learning Management Systems (LMSs)

• Demonstrated experience in the analyses of change recommendations and determination of impact on system readiness and user functionality pertaining to both USN and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) issues

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD clearance is a must – U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge in releasability and disclosure issues for FMS pertaining to training tools and material

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000 – $80,000 per year
