We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Mission Analyst to join our team. This position will provide an opportunity to develop the innovative technology that supports some of our nation’s most important defense initiatives. The RDER Mission analysist will provide support of Engineering Analysis/ Assessment Services to work in the Dahlgren, Virginia area. The RDER Mission Analyst will provide analysis team support to prototype evaluation activities. Candidates must be results oriented and have the ability to work in a well-organized, logical and systematic manner. They will set clear objectives, monitor progress, take corrective action and control performance levels to maintain high internal customer satisfaction. They will possess deep insight into customer requirements and will maintain the ability to ethically influence those requirements. They will be able to clearly define and clearly articulate compelling solutions and will require an ability to quickly assimilate and apply complex technical information.

Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to,
– Works as part of an analysis team to support the analysis of effectiveness of prototypes as part of the Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) program.
– Contributes to RDER process and schedules development and maintenance.
– Reviews prototype performance characteristics, works closely with industry prototype teams to understand prototype capabilities and limitations, and defines metrics to support analysis requirements.
– Develops Data Collection and Analysis Plans (DCAPs) to capture prototype capabilities, limitations, test objectives, and metrics and associated acceptability criteria and supports review and signature process.
– Participates in recurring working groups with prototype integration and ops teams,
– Attends Initial (IPC), Mid (MPC), and Final Planning conferences (FPC) in support of prototype analysis objectives.
– Provides on-site support for risk reduction events (RREs) and service events to capture relevant amplifying information, daily logs, and support interaction with the services to conduct surveys and complete questionnaires.
– Supports reach-back lab tool development and analysis of event data.
– Develop post event quick look report (QLR) and Final analysis reports (FARs) and supports briefing to Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) sponsors where applicable.

Requirements

RDER Mission Analyst must have:
1. Top Secret Security Clearance
2. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
3. Ability to Travel 10-25% of the time
