Kitty Hawk Technologies, a growing service and technology innovator, is seeking talented and motivated professionals to deliver lean and effective solutions to our government partners. We have an immediate opening for an Office Supervisor to join our team. This position will consist of overseeing the daily activities and office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense controls to our valued customers at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. Kitty Hawk employees work closely with our customers to develop solutions that support national engineering and security missions, and the ideal candidate will support our team in providing program support to the Department of Defense (DoD). Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Correspondence and Business Document Support
    • Support managers with the development of commendation letters and award documentation
    • Support managers with the development of formal organizational business correspondence
    • Assist with the management of hybrid workplace assets to include technical support and content updates via Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and websites
    • Manage all records generated and controlled in accordance with NAVSEA instructions
    • Assist in the development of digital transformation strategies that reduce the reliance on paper documentation
  • Financial Record Assistance and Timekeeping
    • Support time keeping data entry, reports management, leave and overtime request
    • Timekeeping data entry into the Navy Employee Resource Plan (ERP)
    • Data entry, review and routing oversight of travel request using the Defense Travel System

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in the field of management or operations of an enterprise
  • One year of related experience in such areas as payroll support, clerical duties, word processing, filing, preparing correspondence, data entry, meeting coordination, arranging travel, records management support, creating and modifying documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Unites States Naval Fleet organizations is desired
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Candidates currently residing in a designated HUBZone are strongly desired
  • Associate’s level degree in any technical or managerial discipline
