Kitty Hawk Technologies, a growing service and technology innovator, is seeking talented and motivated professionals to deliver lean and effective solutions to our government partners. We have an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst II to join our team. This position will consist of preparing, coordinating, and documenting financial analysis projects for our valued customers at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. Kitty Hawk employees work closely with our customers to develop solutions that support national engineering and security missions, and the ideal candidate will support our team in providing program support to the Department of Defense (DoD).   • Financial and Program Metric Organization and Analysis
    • Track financial expenditures
    • Manage database of financial records
    • Development of specialized financial reports for tracking financial expenditures, reconcile corporate databases and remedy cost overruns
    • Perform cost and variance analysis to track productive and overhead spending
    • Perform predictive analysis of future expenditures
    • Developing, updating and maintaining Earned Value Management (EVM) tracking and metrics
    • Assist in process improvement initiatives and update financial policies as needed
    • Collect, analyze, prioritize and format Task Planning Sheets (TPS) submissions
  • Team Meeting Scheduling and Resource Alignment
    • Support the development of program and organizational wide schedules
    • Organizing meetings, developing materials, tracking action items
    • Generate and distribute meeting agendas and minutes


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of including
    • Developing business and technical processes
    • Metrics management
    • Database structures and data collection
    • Financial management and reporting
    • Tracking cost and schedule performance
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Unites States Naval Fleet organizations is desired
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Candidates currently residing in a designated HUBZone are strongly desired
  • Bachelor’s level degree in Business or Technical Field
